Hello boys and girls! I guess you found out the special date we´ll be celebrating in February is ... VALENTINE´S DAY, yay! Valentine´s Day is celebrated on February 14th, the same as in Spain. It´s a day to honour LOVE, which is a great feeling.
It´s a very celebrated day both in England and in USA, where it´s typical to remind and demonstrate our family, friends and beloved ones that we love them (even if it´s something we should do everyday...). Since love is an universal and wonderful feeling, (don´t you like to love and feel loved?) we´ll be learning some things about Valentine´s day at school. Hope you like our love celebration. ¡Hola! Me imagino que habéis adivinado que la fecha especial que vamos a celebrar en febrero es ... San Valentín, que, igual que en España se celebra el 14 de febrero.
Es un día para rendir homenaje al amor, que es un sentimiento fantástico.
Es una fecha muy celebrada tanto en Inglaterra como en Estados Unidos, donde este día se recuerda y demuestra a nuestra familia, amigos y seres queridos que los queremos (aunque esto deberíamos hacerlo todos los días...).
