During the month of March we did different activities related to International Women's Day. One of them was giving traditional tales characters (Cinderella, Snowhite, ...) a new personality and making up a new story for them.
WHAT IF SNOWHITE DIDN'T LIKE THE PRINCE? ... WHAT IF RAPUNZEL ESCAPED FROM THE TOWER ON HER OWN? ...
We used the following presentation as an introduction to the activity.
Below are some videos introducing our version of these women characters.

Last month, to commemorate International Women's Day (8th March) as we were working on the Past Simple, we learned about different women in History.
One group worked on different women and their
achievements. They looked for information and introduced their character to the rest of the class. below's a video with some of their presentations.
Other group worked on traditional women story characers, giving them a new personality and changing their story a little bit. We'll share their ideas soon, but below's the photo of a new Snowhite.

Before our Easter break, first graders went on and egg hunt. It was an "English egg hunt" to have fun and review some of the things we've learned so far. We hopped, ran, read, listened, said a rhyme and had fun.
Well done, little rabbits!
And some sixth graders designed some very cute funky Easter rabbits. You can see them below!
And some other sixth graders designed Easter vokis.
I'll see you all tomorrow! I hope you had a wonderful break!
