VAENTINE'S DAY 2015

And we also worked on the song "Count on me", with its perfect lyrics to reflect on friendship and love towards our friends. We ordered some images of the song while listening to it without watching the video and then we completed the lyrics with the missing words

HAPPY MAY 17TH

Hope you´re having a great "Letras Galegas" break (May 17th, is a day dedicated to Galician literature, its writers, and its culture in general). Then we´ll go back to work for the last sprint. MOTHER´S DAY CRAFTS

Tomorrow (May 1st) it´s going to be Mother´s Day, just in case you don´t have a present for her yet, here you are some ideas of easy crafts you can make for your mums (click on the picture). Ah, and don´t forget to give her a big hug and kiss, that´s always the best present ;)

SAINT PATRICK´S DAY

On Thursday, March 17th it will be Saint Patrick´s Day. Saint Patrick is the main patron if Ireland, that´s why this day is mainly celebrated in the Republic of Ireland. It´s also very celebrated in those countries where there are big communities of Irish emigrants, such as the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada... And nowadays it´s become a very popular and celebrated day around the world.
The main themes are the green colour, leprechauns and having Irish food. Doesn´t it sound funny! There are different Saint Patrick´s Day parades around the world. In Dublin (capital of Ireland), the parade is the main event of a five-day celebration; and the biggest parade is celebrated in New York.

El jueves 17 de marzo se celebra el día de San Patricio, que es el patrón de la República de Irlanda. También se celebra en aquellos países en los que hay una gran comunidad de emigrantes irlandeses, como el Reino Unido, Estados Unidos, Canadá, ... Y además hoy en dia se ha vuelto una fiesta muy celebrada en todo el mundo.
La temática principal es el color verde, los duendes, y disfrutar de la gastronomía irlandesa. Divertido, ¿no?
Hay distintos desfiles de San Patricio en todo el mundo. En Dublín, el desfile forma parte de los cinco días que dura la celebración de San Patricio. El desfile más grande del mundo es el celebrado en Nueva York. Si pincháis en la imagen de arriba podéis leer más información sobre este día.
